I don’t know if it’s all the pink and candy I see when I walk into the grocery store or the fresh flowers…but February hits and I’m all consumed with Valentine’s Day dreams. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, it is no surprise that all I can think about is what do I wear?! First things first, I want to be comfortable. One year I decided to make pasta and heavy dessert wearing a little red American Apparel number, (we live, we learn) and from that point on I decided I wanted to dress more for myself and less for my date. Not only is this dress comfortable, it has a beautiful texture. I’m also in love with the electric navy blue flower outlines against the black color–it really leaves a lot of room to mix blues and blacks. I also thought a side braided bun and accent bow would really bring on an extra touch of feminine sweetness. Love and sweetness, isn’t that what this holiday is all about?
