This shoot was so much fun! Sometimes I watch Mad Men reruns, just because I am so inspired by the outfits, especially Christina Hendricks character Joan. Not to mention, I love to mix vintage and contemporary pieces, and when I found this gorgeous green 60’s dress, it was a sign. It was so much fun to do these throwback looks all the way down to the make-up and hair-do’s. The cat eye has been making a huge comeback in make-up trends, but can we please bring back the 60’s mod cat eye? I’m obsessed!
Dresses have continued to be my go to throughout this summer. They are so easy to accessorize, put on, and run out the door. For these looks, I really wanted to play with primary colors and neutrals. Neutral colors are something I normally don’t gravitate towards, because they wash me out. However, I couldn’t bypass this lovely BCBG dress and its incredibly fun print and neck line.
